Delete your Gool6 account

You can ask us to delete your Gool6 account and the data attached to it at any time, for any reason. You do not have to tell us why, and there is no charge.

How to ask

Email privacy@gool6.app with the subject “Delete my account”, from any address you can reply from.

So that we can find the right account and be sure it is yours, please include:

  • the phone number you sign in with, and
  • your leaderboard display name.

We will reply to your email to confirm once it is done.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

  • your phone number and sign-in record,
  • your display name,
  • your predictions, points, and leaderboard entries,
  • your activity streak and last-active date,
  • your interaction and performance events.

These records are all attached to your account in our database and are removed together — the interaction events and the streak cannot survive the account they belong to. After deletion, your entries will no longer appear on the leaderboard.

What we keep, and why

Nothing that identifies you, with two narrow exceptions.

We may keep specific information where the law requires us to. And our hosting provider records short-lived technical server logs of requests — the time, the endpoint called, whether it succeeded — which exist to keep the service secure and are retained only for as long as that provider keeps them. Those logs are not used to build a profile of you and are not linked back to a deleted account.

How long it takes

We handle deletion requests by hand, and we will confirm by email as soon as yours is done. If you have not heard from us, write again to privacy@gool6.app — a request that appears to have gone unanswered has not been refused.

A few things worth knowing

Deleting your account does not delete the app. You are welcome back any time — you would simply be starting a new account, with a clean table.

There is no charge to delete your account, and no charge to create one. Gool6 is free.

For anything else about your data, including asking for a copy of it, see the privacy policy.
